The safety of our pets and of our guests is our top priority. All pets staying at Just Happy Dogs are required to have up-to-date vaccinations. Vaccinations must be administered by a licensed veterinarian 14 days before you can schedule service with us. This includes the Meet n’ Greet.

Please upload a picture of your pet(s) and your written proof of the following vaccines for all pets you wish to board with us or for whom we will be providing daycare. (For Drop-Ins, only the Rabies certificate is required.:

• DPP (Distemper, Parvovirus & Parainfluenza): 1 or 3-yr. vaccine required.
• Rabies: 1 or 3-yr. vaccine required. The uploaded rabies certificate should also include the rabies tag number and be signed by a veterinarian as required by NYS law.
• Bordetella: Required every 12 months (or as required under the applicable law of your jurisdiction or residence). Please note that many veterinarians administer this vaccine only by request.
• Canine Influenza: Not required, but highly recommended to help protect against the Canine Influenza respiratory illness.
• Leptospirosis: Not required, but highly recommended to help protect against the Leptospirosis infection.
• Negative Fecal Exam
• Fleas & Ticks: All pets should be flea and tick free and should be using a flee and tick preventative. Sorry, but we will not be able to admit pets that show evidence of fleas or ticks.
• For Cats Only – FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus & Panleukopenia): 1 or 3-yr. vaccine required
